  A tuned Debian or Ubuntu image, kernel updates applied weekly, and a rollback snapshot before every change.

  Hourly incrementals kept for 30 days, verified by an automatic monthly restore into a scratch host.

• Monitoring

  Blackbox checks every 30 seconds from three regions, with alerts to e-mail, Telegram or a webhook.

1. Storage tier refresh — the shared NVMe pool has been replaced; no action needed.
2. Second datacentre — cross-site replication is now on by default for backup plans.
